Dramatically Increase Sales Conversions with the Socrates Premium WordPress Theme
I’m a big WordPress fan. It’s a great content management system, and has enough flexibility that I can use it for everything I want– blogs, sold websites… you name it.
However, I do have one small gripe with it. Even though it has the support and flexibility to create any type of websites, those websites usually don’t look much different than blogs. By this, I mean that even if you have an affiliate website running WordPress, it will still look like a WordPress blog.
This isn’t necessarily the worst thing, but I always thought in the back of my mind that if I found the right theme, I would probably get a lot more sales out of it.
A few weeks ago, I stumbled on the WP Socrates theme, hence this Socrates theme review. It looked to be exactly what I needed, but it also came with a fairly hefty price tag. You can create squeeze pages, place ads, design custom headers, and basically customize every little detail. Because it looked so easy to customize even for a beginner like me, I figured that I might as well pick it up.

Another reason why I thought I’d check it out is because Joel Comm created it. Joel is a bit of a legendary WordPress developer. He’s made a lot of popular themes, and is also very successful at internet and affiliate marketing. I knew that if he was making a theme especially created to make affiliate marketing easier, it would probably be worth checking out.
In this Socrates theme review, I’d like to go over all the features, and tell you about which ones I liked and didn’t like. It’s my hope that this review will help you decide whether or not the Socrates them will be best for your needs.
Socrates Theme Features
Like any WordPress theme, Socrates is extremely easy to install. This isn’t a how-to guide, but if you’ve never installed it before, you simply need to click on the “add theme” button in your WordPress themes menu.
Right off the bat, I was really impressed with the Socrates theme. Like any good premium WordPress theme, Socrates has its own separate menu. If you want to make design changes, there is no need to fool around with any of the HTML or CSS. You can simply edit everything you would want to edit from the “Socrates” menu.
However, the sheer amount of customizations available with this theme makes it stand out from others. As far as the design options go, you can change literally everything about the theme. You can make custom headers, or choose from their ever-growing list of header images. You can turn off sidebars, make sales pages, make squeeze pages, basically whatever you’d want to make. If you want to get more advanced, there’s room for that as well.
Another great thing about the Socrates wp theme is the fact that it’s designed from the ground up to be search engine friendly. This means that the amount of SEO work you actually have to do is relatively low compared to other themes. You can add your Google Analytics code right into the theme, you can set main keywords and titles, and you can optimize each post as well.
Speaking of post customizations, my personal favorite part of the Socrates theme is the amount of options available when creating new pages or posts. You can select from a wide variety of different post templates. For example, you can select a skinny sales page, a normal sales page, a squeeze page, or a custom contact form. This really helps change your normal WordPress blog into a comprehensive sales website. Good stuff.
The last customization aspect I’d like to hit on (although there is much more than this review describes) is the fact that you can edit all the color combinations of your website. You can choose from a preset of colors, or you can create your own. This way, you can make your website match any type of product or service you are promoting. This is really handy, and there aren’t many themes that allow this level of customization.

There are step-by-step installation guides, as well as guides to help you make money with your Socrates website. No matter what you need help accomplishing, the video guides and text guides will be more than enough information. The Socrates theme is a revolutionary new theme for Affiliate or Internet Marketers. With the Socrates theme, you transform WordPress from a blog platform into a massive selling machine. It’s truly a must-have theme– especially if you have a lot of different websites.
